Is my repeat prescription ready?
PharosReady at the High Street branch, open until 6pm today. Want a 4pm reminder?
I have had a sore throat for 3 days.
PharosThat is an NHS Pharmacy First service. I can book a free pharmacist consultation. Shall I find a slot?
Sound familiar?

You trained to care for patients, not to answer the phone all day.

The phone never stops, it is the same questions on repeat, after-hours messages pile up, and Pharmacy First adds more admin on top. Every minute on routine is a minute off the clinical work that is actually funded. And it is happening while the whole sector is under real strain.

How Pharos helps

Less time on the phone. More time with patients.

Pharos quietly handles the routine so your team is free for the work only they can do, and patients always get an answer.

Stop the "is it ready yet?" calls

Patients check and reorder their repeats themselves, day or night. Your counter and phone line get noticeably quieter.

Fewer missed collections

Friendly reminders mean patients pick up on time, so fewer items go back on the shelf and more stay on their medication.

Capture every Pharmacy First chance

Explains the seven conditions, checks basic eligibility, then books or escalates, so you stop missing funded consultations. Never diagnoses.

Answer "are you open?" 24/7

Opening hours, location and stock questions handled instantly, even when the shutters are down.

Routine questions, off your plate

Everyday product and service questions answered with strict guardrails, freeing your team for clinical work.

Your pharmacist stays in control

Anything clinical or complex goes straight to your team with the full conversation, so nothing slips and no one oversteps.

Never miss an after-hours patient

On your website, WhatsApp and by voice, patients get help any hour, so you capture demand you used to lose.

The evidence

Pharmacies that automate the routine serve more and spend less.

This is not a hunch. When pharmacies and health systems hand routine work to AI and automation, staff get time back, costs come down, and more patients get seen, with the same team.

Cost down

AI-assisted pharmacy workflows delivered significant cost savings and freed up pharmacist time, with the savings growing as volume grew.

More done

Reviews of AI and automation in pharmacy report pharmacist productivity rising by up to a third, with fewer errors and shorter waits.

Real-world review, 2025
Same team

Taking repetitive admin off the counter lets a pharmacy handle more patients without hiring, while staff focus on care.

FAQ

Common questions

Will this replace my staff?

No. Pharos takes the repetitive questions off your team so they can focus on dispensing, advice and Pharmacy First. Your people end up doing more of the work only they can do, not less.

What will it cost?

Early pilots are free while we learn alongside you. Pricing afterwards will be simple and built for independent pharmacy budgets, and we will always be upfront about it.

Does Pharos give medical advice?

No. Pharos is non-clinical. It handles routine and administrative questions and escalates anything clinical to your pharmacist.

Will it work with my systems?

Pharos sits on your website, WhatsApp and phone line. We work with each pilot pharmacy to fit your existing setup, step by step, with no rip-and-replace.

What happens to patient data?

UK GDPR first. We minimise the data collected, do not store clinical advice, and keep an audit trail. Built with NHS DTAC and clinical-safety standards in mind.

When can I use it?

Joining the waitlist puts you in line for early pilot access as we onboard the first group of pharmacies.
